I recently competed with the Boston College Synchronized Skating team in Lake Placid. We got to practice and compete in the 1932 Olympic Rink. This experience was amazing since Figure Skating has been a huge part of my life since I was five years old.

An example of Olympic History that occurred in Lake Placid. A movie was made about the Men's Olympic Hockey Team, which is definitely worth checking out! The skating rink that the Men's Olympic Team won their gold medal in is in the Olympic Village in Lake Placid.

Lake Placid is the home of the 1932 and the 1980 Olympic Winter Games. Lots of Olympic History was made is this village and is worth checking out!
